Policy and Investment Failures Doomed the Biofuel Revolution
This article is about the non-development of aviation biofuels.
It says the aviation biofuels have been technically ready for years now.
However in 2018, they represent only 0,1% of the global jet fuel consumption.
We know these fuels can be blended with convention fossil fuels up to 50% without modification of transport, storage infrastructures and aircraft engine with an equivalent efficiency.
There is currently no feasible alternative to decarbonizing aviation.
How to understand the paradox that the technical solution exists but have not found its path to development ?
