Hydrogen use for road transport
The advantages of Hydrogen as fuel in transport sector (air, maritime and road) are highlighted in this drawing: No GHG emissions, no air pollution compared to Diesel and also a comparative advantage in terms of recharging time and autonomy compared with electric engines.
There are however still many challenges before it is used in road transport in terms of Safety, Production, Infrastructures, and Cost.
