Overview:
The Sustainable & Ethical Supply Chain module explores responsible sourcing, compliance with Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) standards, and ethical procurement practices.
The course emphasizes the importance of sustainability policies, such as Local Content regulations, in reducing Environmental and Social Impacts. It also describes in detail how to elaborate a Responsible Purchasing Strategy in an entity.
A dedicated module on reducing environmental footprint in Transportation and Logistics provides data on pollution from air, maritime, and road transport. It examines regulatory frameworks and industry initiatives like the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) sustainability goals. Solutions such as emission reduction strategies and green warehouse designs are also covered.
Audience:
This course is primarily designed for Supply Chain Actors who have responsibilities in reaching the Objectives in terms of Cost Reduction, Security of Supply, Sustainable Policy and reduction of the Environmental Footprint.
