Emergency Preparedness - Crisis Management

Overview: This module covers both aspects of a Crisis Management: 1) How to be ready and anticipate the unexpected event leading to a Crisis? and 2) how to manage the crisis after occurrence of the event?
The Emergency Response Plans and the operational Management of the Crisis are described in this course: The various Plans and Procedures prepared by the Operator.
The Objectives, Definitions and Rules of Crisis Management, the Organization, Stakeholders and Roles definition.
It finally details the different types of Training and Drills necessary to get ready.

Audience: Any business managers, engineers to assume a H2SE or operational management position. The Emergency Preparedness and Crisis Management is a collective management involving various actors of a project or production entity: HSE, Production, Drilling, Logistics but also Legal and Finance. 

Deliverables: Upon completion of this module, Trainees will have a full knowledge of all plans and procedures prepared to cover all types of emergency situations: Blow-out, Oil spills, Fire or explosion...
Trainees will also be familiar with the organization of Crisis Cell and the roles of every individual within the Cell. 
Trainees will therefore be ready to react in case of Crisis in their entity whatever their function and role.

Certificate: The training will be completed by an online test on EvalBox. Upon completion of the training, including the test, participants will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance issued by Adinergy.

  1. Objectives, Definitions and Rules: The objectives of Crisis Management – The definition of Emergency and Crisis situation – Perimeter and General Rules.

  2. Organization, Stakeholders and Roles: Identification and Mapping of the Stakeholders.

  3. Plans & Procedures: The Incident Management System - The Various Levels of CM - Affiliate ERP – Site Emergency Plan –- Contractor’s ERP & Bridging Documents – Specific Contingency Plans: BOCP - OSCP - Medevac.

  4. Training & Competency: The different types of Training and Drills.
