Overview: In 2018, Lifting activity accounted for 16% of fatal incidents in the Upstream Industry, ranking second, after drilling. The following 2 causal factors appear consistently in the top ten for both fatal incidents and high potential events for each of the past 9 years: Inadequate Hazard Identification or Risk Assessment and improper decision making or lack of judgment.
This module will therefore focus on these 2 causal factors for Lifting Operations.
Audience: All personnel involved in Handling/Lifting operations: Base personnel, Logistics, Maintenance, Construction Personnel but also HSE Personnel having need to focus on Lifting operations.
Deliverables: Upon completion of this course, Trainees will be able to implement a Lifting Management System and be able to conduct Risk Assessment & Lift Plan for Lifting Operations.
Certificate: The training will be completed by an online test on EvalBox. Upon completion of the training, including the test, participants will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance issued by Adinergy.
