Overview: This module is a very pragmatic review of all Risks associated to Drilling Operations. Supported by Pictures and Video, all Risks are covered together with the way to mitigate them with: Equipment-Personnel-Procedure-Communication...
The module covers all areas of a drilling rig: The Drill Floor - The mud treatment facilities - The supporting areas: Storage, Workshop, Living Quarter.
Audience: Any Superintendents, Supervisors and Technicians involved in the Safety of Drilling Operations. This module is also a necessary refresher for drillers who are daily exposed to the specific Risks of the Rig environment.
Deliverables: Upon completion of this course, Trainees will be fully aware of all Risks associated to various phases of Drilling Operations, to different products handled during Drilling Operations, to various locations on Rig.
All mitigation measures are studied and discussed.
Certificate: The training will be completed by an online test on EvalBox. Upon completion of the training, including the test, participants will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance issued by Adinergy.
- Drill Floor: Risks Categories (Caught by, Caught in between, Struck, Slip and Trip Fall, Dropped Object, Pressure...) - Potential Consequences: Human, Material, Environmental - Control measures and Mitigation.
- Drilling Fluids & Cementing Operations: Chemical Risk and Control Measures (COSHH, MSDS...) - Pressure Risk and Control Measures (MAWP, WP, Exclusion zone...) - Mud Treatment Facilities (Health Hazards, Confined Space...) - Pollution Risk, Solid Control and Waste Management.
