Technical Services Contracting Strategy

Overview: The preliminary step of a Contracting Strategy is the implementation of a Compliance process ensuring conformity of Contractors to International and Host Country Laws, Company Rules, Procedures, and Ethics requirements.
This module will thereafter explain what is the Contracting Strategy of the Operator in the conduct of Operations: How the Operator delegates, through Contracts, a large proportion of Operations and shares the Risks.
The link between the Patrimonial Agreement and the Service Contracts will be explained. The development of a Local Content Policy in the Host Country driven by contractual requirements will be studied.

Audience: Contract Engineers, Contract Administrators, any actor involved in the relationship between the Company and the Contractors.
Drillers and Logisticians may also have interest to this course which covers the contractual aspects of their operational activity: They are the “Owners” of these service Contracts.

Deliverables: Upon completion of this course, Trainees will understand the link between Patrimonial Agreement and Service Contract, the Local Content Requirements and their origins and finally will be familiar with the ways the Operator shares Risks and Responsibilities with its Contractors through the definition of a Contractual Strategy.

Certificate: The training will be completed by an online test on EvalBox. Upon completion of the training, including the test, participants will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance issued by Adinergy.
