Overview: This module describes the minimum requirements for Air Operator’s Safety Management System (SMS), Quality Assurance (QA), and Emergency Response Plan (ERP).
There are legal requirements for Air Operators to have an SMS in place. ICAO is requiring any holder of an AOC to have an SMS in place, development depending on the complexity of its operations.
In the absence of national legal requirements and for guidance of Oil & Gas Companies, this course detail the minimum requirements that any Air Operator must have in place.
Audience: All personnel involved in Air Support Operations: Logistic personnel but also HSE personnel having need to focus on Logistic operations Safety.
Deliverables: Upon completion of this course, the attendants will have a complete view of what are the recommended practices to ensure high HSE Standard during Air Support Operations. Trainees will also have knowledge to implement Safety Management System in their Logistic activity.
All aspects are reviewed: Regulations, personnel behavior, equipment standards, certification, training and management organization and emergency response.
